With Powerwall, you can store solar energy generated during the day for use at any time. During the day, the sun shines on your solar panels, charging your battery. At night, your facility draws electricity from your battery, powering your building with clean, sustainable energy 24/7.

Powerwall provides backup power during power outages, natural disasters and other catastrophic events. Powerwall protects your business against power outages by providing you with the power generated by your commercial solar system, keeping your lights, wi-fi, HVAC system, and other critical systems on.

Installing Powerwall with HES Solar is easy. We take care of everything from system design, permitting, installation, financing, and monitoring.

Your Tesla commercial battery mounts seamlessly on a wall or on the ground, indoors or outdoors, and is connected to the grid to export excess energy, maximizing your opportunity for economic benefit.

Powerwall can provide a number of benefits increasing self-consumption of solar power generation, including:

SURPLUS ENERGY STORAGE

Powerwall can store surplus solar energy during daylight hours and use that energy later when the sun is not shining.

LOAD SHIFTING

Powerwall can charge during low rate periods when demand for electricity is lower and discharge during more expensive rate periods when electricity demand is higher.

Robert Laverty

Robert Laverty joined the HES team in the summer of 2018, bringing his ten years of solar design experience and his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puget Sound with him. Robert is dedicated to finding solutions to help families produce and store electricity in order to reduce their reliance on grid power as well as help reduce their household’s carbon footprint. Robert’s experience as a newspaper editor as well as his involvement with the sustainability-focused Rocky Mountain Institute drives him to constantly seek out innovative ways to meet energy needs through renewable resources as well as helps him share those ideas with Southern California homeowners. When not at work or volunteering time with his church or community, Robert spends time with his wife and two sons or pursues his passion of fly fishing.
